German winger Karim Adeyemi expressed a clear desire to quickly integrate with Barcelona, affirming his determination to prove coach Hansi Flick's decision to sign him was right.
During his official presentation as a new player for Blaugrana, the 24-year-old Adeyemi expressed his great gratitude for the opportunity Flick gave him, emphasizing his confidence in his ability to harmonize with his teammate Lamine Yamal.
Adeyemi said in his statements during the introductory press conference as a Barcelona player: 'Expectations are high, I am coming to the best club in the world, and I hope to prove to the coach and the fans that I am a player worthy of Barcelona.'
Regarding his motivations for the upcoming phase, the German international explained: 'Winning the Champions League, despite its great importance, is not my only goal with the Catalan team.'
He added: 'The Champions League is a very important competition, but it is not the only goal... At Barcelona, every match has its importance, and I will do my utmost to contribute to winning the Champions League and all possible titles.'
The new arrival confirmed that he puts winning at the top of his priorities, without caring about the position he will play in, whether on the left wing occupied by Raphinha or on the right side.
Adeyemi concluded his speech by saying: 'I don't care about the position I play in, I have played in all attacking positions. I am here only to help the team.'
