The National Center for Meteorology warned of continued chances of thunder rain accompanied by hail and active winds in parts of Makkah, Al-Baha, Asir, Jazan, and Najran regions on Wednesday, with extremely hot weather remaining in parts of the Eastern Province and Riyadh and Madinah regions.

The center explained that active winds raising dust and sand will also affect parts of those regions, in addition to parts of the Northern Borders, Al-Jouf, and Tabuk regions, and the eastern parts of the western and southwestern highlands of the Kingdom.

The center revealed the expected maximum temperatures as follows: 47°C in Dammam, 46°C in both Madinah and Buraidah, 45°C in Riyadh, while reaching 41°C in Makkah, and 40°C in Najran and Sakaka.

Regarding the marine report, the center expected surface winds over the Red Sea to be northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 15 to 45 km/h, possibly reaching 50 km/h in the southern part with thundercloud formation, while wave heights range between 1 and 2 meters, with a possibility of exceeding that in the south.

In the Arabian Gulf, northwesterly to northeasterly winds will blow at speeds of 15 to 30 km/h, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to one and a half meters, and sea state ranging from light to moderate.
