The National Center for Meteorology reported in its weather forecast for today (God willing) that moderate to heavy thunderstorms accompanied by hail and active winds are still expected in parts of Jazan, Asir, and Al Baha, extending to parts of Makkah region, as well as in the southern parts of the Eastern Region. Light rain is also not ruled out in parts of Medina region. The active winds stirring dust and sand will continue to affect parts of those areas as well as parts of the Eastern Region and Tabuk. Meanwhile, the weather will remain hot during the daytime in parts of the Eastern Region and Riyadh.

The report indicated that surface wind movement over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to westerly at 20–45 km/h in the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to northerly at 15–35 km/h, reaching over 50 km/h with the formation of rainy thunderclouds in the southern part. Wave height will range from 1 to 2.5 meters in the northern and central parts, and from 0.5 to 1.5 meters, reaching over 2 meters with the formation of rainy thunderclouds in the southern part. Sea state will be moderate to rough in the northern and central parts, and light to moderate, becoming rough with the formation of rainy thunderclouds in the southern part.

In the Arabian Gulf, surface winds will be northwesterly to northeasterly in the northern part, and easterly to northeasterly in the central and southern parts, at 13–28 km/h. Wave height will range from 0.5 to 1.5 meters. Sea state will be light.
