Urgent - With 50°C... Heatwave Hits 15 Cities and Governorates in the Eastern Region
The National Center for Meteorology warned today of a heatwave reaching (49-50) degrees Celsius in the Eastern Region.
It includes the cities of Dammam and Dhahran, and the governorates of Hafar Al-Batin, Al-Khafji, Al-Nu'ayriyah, Qaryat Al-Ulya, Jubail, Ras Tanura, Al-Qatif, Al-Khobar, Buqayq, Al-Udayd, Dha'balutan, Al-Ahsa, Al-Hajar and their affiliated centers, causing dust stirring and reduced horizontal visibility (1-3 km) on highways and open areas.

The center stated that this situation will continue until 9 p.m.
Kingdom's weather: The National Center for Meteorology, in its report on the weather situation today Wednesday in the Kingdom's regions, expects continued thunderstorms accompanied by hail and active winds in parts of Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha regions, extending to the southern parts of the heights of Makkah Al-Mukarramah region. Meanwhile, maximum temperatures remain high in parts of the Eastern and Riyadh regions. Active winds stirring dust and sand affect parts of those regions, as well as parts of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, and Tabuk regions.
