General / Speaker of Shura Council Holds Official Talks with Tajik Parliament Speaker in Dushanbe

Dushanbe, 19 Muharram 1448 AH, corresponding to 04 July 2026 AD, SPA: His Excellency Speaker of the Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Sheikh held a session of official talks with His Excellency Speaker of the Parliament of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Idi Zadeh Faiz Ali, in the capital, Dushanbe, during his official visit to the Republic of Tajikistan at the head of a delegation from the Council, in response to an invitation from His Excellency the Speaker of the Tajik Parliament. During the talks, the distinguished bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Tajikistan were reviewed, and ways to enhance joint parliamentary cooperation were discussed. Both sides emphasized the importance of parliamentary visits in exchanging expertise, developing parliamentary work, and opening new avenues for cooperation between the two countries, as well as unifying visions and positions on issues of mutual interest in international forums. A number of topics of common interest were also discussed. The official delegation accompanying His Excellency the Speaker of the Shura Council attended the talks, including Council members Dr. Asim bin Mohammed Madkhali, Engineer Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al Daghrir, Dr. Basim bin Mohammed Al Sayed, and the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Tajikistan, Khalid bin Abdullah Al Shammarani. // End // 16:49 Makkah Time 0049
