Two Palestinians killed by Israeli fire east of Gaza
Two Palestinian citizens were killed and others were injured on Sunday by Israeli artillery shelling east of Gaza City.
The Palestinian Information Center quoted a local source saying that "two martyrs arrived at the Shifa Medical Complex this morning as a result of Israeli artillery shelling that targeted Kashko Street in the Zeitoun neighborhood east of Gaza City during the night hours."
The center reported the death of a female citizen and the injury of others, including her husband, last night due to Israeli artillery shelling east of the Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City, noting that two citizens were injured this dawn as a result of an Israeli shelling that targeted a residential apartment in the Shati camp west of Gaza City.
Israeli forces carried out a demolition operation east of Gaza City, concurrent with artillery shelling targeting east of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood.

According to data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the number of victims since the start of the ceasefire on October 10 has risen to 1,156 dead, in addition to 3,703 wounded, along with 802 cases of body recovery.
The Palestinian news agency Wafa quoted medical sources in the Gaza Strip on Saturday, reporting that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Strip has risen to 73,269 martyrs and 173,811 wounded since October 7, 2023.
It added that the Strip's hospitals "received 19 martyrs in the past 24 hours (16 new martyrs, one martyr who died of wounds, and two martyrs whose bodies were recovered), and 60 injuries."
