The Jordanian Armed Forces announced the interception and downing of 4 drones and 4 missiles coming from Iran, which targeted Jordanian territory, without recording any human casualties or material damage.

A responsible military source said that Royal Air Force aircraft intercepted and shot down four drones coming from Iran, confirming that the interception operation did not result in any human or material losses.

He also added that Royal Engineering Corps teams moved to the sites of falling shrapnel, dealt with them, and secured the sites according to technical and security procedures in place, as reported by the Jordan News Agency 'Petra'.

In the same context, the source explained that air defense systems detected six missiles coming from Iranian territory as soon as they entered Jordanian airspace, where they managed to intercept and shoot down four of them, while the other two missiles fell in two remote uninhabited areas, without any injuries or material damage.
