Only four coaches have surpassed the one-year mark with their teams in the Saudi Roshn League ahead of its new season starting mid-August. German Matthias Jaissle, head coach of Al-Ahli's first football team, tops the list of those longest in their posts, having stayed for two years, 11 months, and 24 days. Second is Tunisian Jalel Kadri with Al-Hazem, nearing his first year by three months and eight days. Italian Simone Inzaghi, coach of Al-Hilal, is third after spending one year, one month, and 17 days, followed by Frenchman Christophe Galtier, who has led Al-Neom for one year and 17 days. Italian Giovanni Solinas is nearing his first year with Al-Faisaly (11 months and 25 days), and Croatian Damir Buric with Abha (11 months and 20 days). After them comes Englishman Des Buckingham with Al-Kholood, then Irishman Brendan Rodgers who has been trying to build something new at Al-Qadsiah for seven months. While Brazilian Mauricio Dulac counts his days at Al-Riyadh (5 months), the others start almost from scratch: Portuguese Jose Gomez at Al-Khaleej, Serbian Zarko Lazetic and Brazilian Fabio Carille (just 21 days), Australians Arthur Papas and Ange Postecoglou at Al-Ettifaq and Al-Nassr, and finally Portuguese Bruno Lage and Germans Bernd Vossing and Thomas Letsch, and lastly Saudi Khaled Al-Atwi who signed his contract with Al-Fateh just one day ago.
