Francisco's career is full of distinguished professional stints in European stadiums, where he represented Sporting Lisbon, Barcelona, Wolverhampton, Sporting Braga, during which he gained diverse experiences in the Portuguese, Spanish and English leagues.

During his career, he played 327 official matches, scoring 62 goals, in addition to making 57 goals, figures that reflect his attacking abilities and his constant contribution to making a difference.

The player has a record full of achievements at the local and continental levels, as he won the UEFA Nations League title (2024-2025), won the Portuguese League title in two consecutive seasons (2023-2024 and 2024-2025), won the Portuguese Cup (2024-2025), and previously won the Copa del Rey (2020-2021), along with winning the Portuguese League Cup (2019-2020).
