Takamul Holding achieved a new international milestone with the project “The Smart Model for Labor Market Oversight – Suspicion Detection Engine” winning the Champion award in the “Ethical Dimensions of the Information Society” category at the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) 2026 Awards, organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) of the United Nations, after a global competition involving nearly 1,500 projects from more than 100 countries.

The project is one of the most prominent national solutions in employing artificial intelligence to support labor market oversight, as Takamul Company developed and implemented it to form an intelligent system for proactive detection of fraud and non-compliance, thereby enhancing oversight efficiency, improving decision-making quality, and contributing to the protection of the labor market.

The “Suspicion Detection Engine” relies on artificial intelligence technologies and big data analytics, and proactively monitors suspicion indicators, which accelerated oversight processes and enabled more efficient actions, reducing the decision-making cycle from 25 days to just three days.

This award reflects the success of the partnership model between various sectors, as Takamul’s expertise contributed to designing and implementing an advanced digital solution that enabled the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development to enhance compliance in the labor market and leverage artificial intelligence to develop a more efficient and effective oversight system.
