Saturday Weather: Thunderstorms, Hail Showers, and Winds in Parts of 5 Regions
The National Center of Meteorology announced the details of the expected weather conditions today, Saturday, in the Kingdom, warning of thunderstorms, hail showers, and active winds in parts of 5 regions.
According to the weather statement; moderate to heavy thunderstorms accompanied by hail showers and active winds continue to be expected in parts of Jazan, Asir, Al Baha, and Makkah regions, as well as the southern parts of the Eastern Region.

Meanwhile, the impact of active winds raising dust and sand continues in parts of those regions, including the coastal road from Jeddah to Jazan, as well as parts of Tabuk, Al Madinah, Riyadh, and Najran regions. The weather remains hot during the daytime in parts of the Eastern Region, and fog is not ruled out during the night and early morning hours in parts of the Eastern Region.
Red Sea
Surface winds: Northwesterly to westerly in the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to northerly at 15-40 km/h, reaching over 50 km/h with the formation of rainy thunderclouds in the southern part.
Wave height: 1 to 2 meters, reaching over 2 meters with the formation of rainy thunderclouds in the southern part.
Sea state: Moderate waves becoming rough with the formation of rainy thunderclouds in the southern part.
Arabian Gulf
Surface winds: Southwesterly to westerly in the northern part, and easterly to northeasterly in the central and southern parts at 12-25 km/h.
Wave height: 0.5 to 1 meter.
Sea state: Light waves.
