Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan emphasized that recent developments in the region have shown the rapid spread of tensions beyond the region and their impact on global security, energy markets, and economic growth, stressing that there is no alternative to diplomacy and that military force alone does not guarantee lasting stability.

The Foreign Minister said during the Gulf Research Meeting that the goal should not be limited to containing tensions, but must address their roots, build trust, and establish a stable regional system based on respect for sovereignty, non-intervention, good neighborliness, freedom of navigation, and commitment to international law.

He added that violations of the principles of respect for sovereignty and non-intervention must be met with accountability, affirming that policies of aggression and domination only lead to insecurity and contradict the stability and prosperity of the region.
