The Asir Region Municipality continued its efforts to improve infrastructure efficiency and enhance the quality of municipal services by carrying out intensive maintenance work on lighting networks and operating equipment and machinery during the second quarter of 2026, contributing to the improvement of the urban landscape and raising the level of road safety.

The Municipality explained that during the second quarter of this year, it carried out (16,897) maintenance operations on lighting poles, in addition to maintaining (912) grounding systems, treating (628) cases of visual distortion, performing routine maintenance on (322) lighting cabinets, repairing (788) cases of electrical short circuits, and extending (14,869) linear meters of cables and wires, in addition to adjusting, relocating, installing, and replacing (177) lighting poles to enhance the efficiency of lighting networks and increase service reliability.

In support of operational work, the Municipality deployed (40) pieces of equipment to carry out (11) field missions for treating and cleaning valleys and culverts as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance readiness and improve the efficiency of response to field operations.
